I. Introduction:

Currently, generally there are two types of transportation facilities structure membrane on the market: PVC and PTFE. PTFE membrane materials have superior functionality but higher price. For developing countries and some less developed ones, PVC membrane materials remain the primary choice for transportation facilities tensile membrane structure. PVC membranes are waterproof, UV-resistant, cold-resistant, heat-resistant, fire-resistant, and can achieve 100% shading. They are mainly used in PVC traffic sunshades, PVC parking shade, and PVC tensile membrane structure. Our new factory employs European standard machinery to produce PVC membrane structure, extending the lifespan over 10 years. Therefore, our PVC membrane materials meet or even exceed European standards. By adjusting the proportion of raw materials and applying PVDF lacquered , we prevent yellowing and fading, reduce damage from dust and rainwater, and ensure outdoor durability for over a decade, making it a perfect alternative to PTFE membrane materials. Additionally, we are researching standards for and methods to improve anti-wicking function, aiming to anti-wicking of our PVC tensile membrane structure to below 5mm in the future.
