There are three main production processes for PVC coated fabric: laminated, hot-melt coated, and knife coated.

Main production process of PVC coated fabric:

1. PVC Laminated fabric:

 It's made with lamination process, to laminate the PVC membrane and knitted polyester fabric together.

2. Hot-melt coated PVC fabric

It's the main coated fabric materials produced by PVC coated fabric manufacturer. The PVC membrane is melted under high temperature, and laminated into the woven polyester PVC fabric.

 For higher adhesion, super strong glue is applied before the laminating process.

The main advantage of hot-melt coating is that, production cost not much more than laminated tarpaulin, the function close to the knife-coated tarpaulin.

3. PVC knife coated fabric

 PVC knife-coated fabric, is also called real coated tarpaulin. The PVC raw material is 100% melted into liquid, the woven polyester fabric go through the PVC liquid and then go through the gap between 2 blade, to remove the extra PVC raw material.
